Reference Science Core
Students considering pre-health study may use the Texas medical-school prerequisite reference core as an optional planning guide: general biology with labs, general chemistry with labs, organic chemistry with labs, physics with labs, biochemistry, math/statistics, English/writing, and psychology/sociology. It is not a required major core. Target Texas medical schools set their own current admissions requirements, and students must verify them directly.
