The University of Justice is looking for a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Siren of Sorrow (Diseases Fundraising) Officer. As a Siren of Sorrow Officer, you will be responsible for helping us raise funds for various causes and initiatives related to diseases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies to raise funds for diseases-related causes and initiatives
- Identify potential donors and build relationships with them to secure donations
- Collaborate with other members of the organization to plan and execute fundraising events
- Utilize various fundraising techniques such as grant writing, direct mail, and online campaigns to achieve fundraising goals
- Keep accurate records of donations and maintain a donor database
- Create and maintain relationships with community organizations, businesses, and individuals to expand the organization's reach and fundraising efforts
- Educate parents of our students about diseases and their impact on the community
- Provide support and resources for families affected by diseases
- Stay updated on current trends and developments in the field of diseases and fundraising
Qualifications and Skills:
- Passion for making a positive impact in the community
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Proven experience in fundraising or related field preferred but not required
- Knowledge or experience in diseases and their impact on the community is a plus
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with donors and community partners
- Proficient in using technology and social media for fundraising purposes
Education and Experience:
- No specific education or experience required, although a degree in a related field is a plus
- Previous experience in fundraising or community outreach is preferred
- Knowledge or experience in diseases is a plus
