The University of Justice is currently seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to join our team as Deeds of Dawn Officers. This position will play a crucial role in supporting students who have experienced loss and are facing difficult times. As a Deeds of Dawn Officer, you will be responsible for providing emotional support and resources to students in need, and helping to organize and execute fundraising initiatives for various causes and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emotional support and resources to students who have experienced loss and are facing difficult times
- Assist in organizing and executing fundraising initiatives for various causes and initiatives
- Collaborate with other members of the University of Justice team to develop and implement strategies for supporting students
- Build relationships with students and create a safe and inclusive environment for them to share their experiences
- Raise awareness about the Deeds of Dawn program and its impact on the community
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and fundraising activities
- Work closely with faculty and staff to identify students in need of support and develop personalized plans to assist them
- Attend regular meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on the latest resources and techniques for supporting students in need
- Act as a liaison between students and external resources, such as counseling services and community organizations
- Help to create a positive and supportive campus culture that promotes mental health and wellbeing

- Passion for making a positive impact in the community and supporting students in need
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Empathetic and non-judgmental attitude
- High level of emotional intelligence and ability to handle sensitive situations with care
- Willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training and development opportunities
Education and Experience:
No specific education or experience is required for this position. However, candidates with a background in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field may be preferred. Previous experience in fundraising or event planning may also be beneficial.
