About the Course
This four-week workshop focuses on Immigration and Integration and its impact on Diversity. By exploring the advantages and disadvantages of the immigration process, as well as implementing leadership skills to contribute to the immigration process, this workshop will provide the student with the necessary information and skills to make informed decisions on immigration.
The first week of the workshop will focus on the history of immigration, its economic and social impacts on communities, and the potential implications of immigration policies. The students will analyze the current immigration legislation and its impact on diversity within communities.
The second week of the workshop will focus on the advantages and disadvantages of the immigration process. The students will explore the positive and negative impacts of immigration on local economies, employment, and social structures. They will also discuss the effects of immigration on families, education, and healthcare.
The third week will focus on the use of leadership skills to contribute to the immigration process. The students will use their leadership skills to develop and implement strategies to help address immigration issues in their own communities. They will also explore the role of local government, business, and nonprofit organizations in the immigration process.
The last week of the workshop will focus on the importance of understanding the impact of immigration and integration on diversity. Students will create their own individual projects that demonstrate their understanding of the immigration process and its implications on diversity.
